CONTEMPLATIVE COMMUNION this Wednesday at 7 p.m. This is our monthly quiet communion service.
READING THE MYSTICS this Thursday at St. Michael's Church at 7 p.m.: We will be looking at selections from Julian of Norwich. If you want a selection of readings contact Ben.
HEALING SERVICE this Friday at 7pm. This is a special communion service on the theme of healing; it will also have an opportunity to come and receive prayer for your own healing or the healing of somebody you know.
CARING AND SHARING: For many years we have supported The Steve Willis Memorial Fund each month. We wish to review our regular giving to charities. While at a local level we continue our strong links with Family Support Work, we would like to support a national or international charity, that members of our congregation know and care about. If you would like to recommend a charity, please speak to or email Mary-Rose or Ashley.
ADMINISTRATION PERSON WANTED. To cover a range of administrative duties, plus others that may arise to support the Rector and the Church in its busy daily life. The person does need to be an active worshipper with the Church of England. Part time position, 16 hours per week with flexible working, at £13.45 per hour. Employed or self-employed considered. If you would like more information speak to Ben or, if interested, submit an initial letter of interest, giving details of previous relevant work/training/skills, and email to Mary-Rose at maryroseshears@btinternet.com. Deadline is Monday 24th November 2025.
FAMILY SUPPORT WORK: CHRISTMAS WISH LIST: The Christmas season is fast approaching. F.S.W. is hoping to bring joy to children and families by giving them gifts to open and enjoy on Christmas Day. If you’re able to contribute, please consider donating one of the gifts listed here. Every single gift makes a difference: Board games, science kits, arts and crafts sets, roleplay kits, sensory toys, Lego, toy cars, colouring books, gift vouchers, teen clothing (please include gift receipt). For parents: Toiletry gift sets, socks, etc., jewellery. Do NOT wrap the gifts as each item needs to be checked.
REFRESHMENTS: We thank those who help with the teas and coffees each week, both those who have done it for a long time and our new volunteers. This role is much appreciated by many.
ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
