ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING (APCM) will be held on Sunday 26th April following the 10am service. Find out about church life in the annual report and accounts which are now available on the table near the font. Please do come along to this important meeting. Your views and comments on St Anne’s are welcomed.
PREPARATION FOR REVISING THE ELECTORAL ROLL 2026 Today the new Electoral Roll 2026 is displayed on the notice board at the back of the church in accordance with the statutory period before the Annual Parochial Church Meeting on the 26th April. Seven new names have been added, making a total of 76 members of the congregation. Richard Saunders, Electoral Roll Officer.
GIFT AID ENVELOPES (Regular giving): The new packs of Gift Aid envelopes (this year Yellow) are available for those who take part in this way of giving. Many of you will find the number on your envelopes has changed, this is purely to do with administration and will allow us to save money by ordering fewer packs next year. Start using the new envelopes from the date on the first one in the pack.
GIVING TO ST. ANNE'S: We thank everyone who gives to the Church, helping us to keep up the general maintenance and keeping the building open during the week for the public to enjoy. But did you know there are three ways you can give regularly aside from popping money in the collection bags or paying by card? If you want to give a regular amount, sign up to the Parish Giving Scheme or set up a Standing Order. Alternatively, you can provide your weekly donation in a Gift Aid envelope (see above about the regular envelope packs). If you would be interested in finding out more about any of these then please speak to Ashley.
F.S.W.: FOR THE COMING MONTH They are in need of tinned fruit and vegetables, jams and spreads, and dried rice (not instant). Please check all items are in date and do be aware they cannot take fresh, chilled, frozen or "homemade" items. They DO NOT need cereals or biscuits at this time.
ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
