VENUE HIRE
LOOKING FOR A REHEARSAL OR CONCERT VENUE?
Have you considered a church?
St. Anne's regularly plays host to concerts and other events throughout the year, both from local choirs and orchestras to those from further afield.
The Festival of Song concerts, Lewes BaroqueFest, plus the monthly lunchtime concerts are all at St. Anne's. Last December Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra used St. Anne's as one of the venues for its sell out "A Christmas Carol" evening featuring Alistair McGowan.
The Church can seat 200 people comfortably with both pews and seats (although some pews have restricted view). Plus there is standing room at the back. We have excellent acoustics, but a sound system is available if required.
Situated in the town (almost opposite the Pelham Arms) there are bus stops next to/opposite the church for both Brighton and Uckfield/Crowborough/ Tunbridge Wells. The railway station is a 10 minute walk away. There is nearby on-street parking (with the nearby car park of the headquarters of the County Council available for free in the evenings). We also have a disabled ramp for easy access.
WANT TO MAKE YOUR EVENT MORE SPECIAL? We have a modern kitchen for food preparation, with an induction hob, eye-level oven and a microwave is available if required. So food and drink can be provided to your guests (you will need to arrange your own licence if selling alcohol). If you need caterers we can recommend a firm.
