SERVICES: Services at St. Anne's in the week. We now have a new, weekly service of Holy Communion on Tuesdays at 9:15am. Morning Prayer is on Mon, Wed, Thur and Fri at 9:15am.
This Wednesday we have our monthly Contemplative Communion service at 7:00pm.
And we have our weekly service of Silent Prayer on Tuesdays at 7:00pm.
HARVEST: We are celebrating Harvest on Sunday the 27th of September and we will be having a Harvest lunch following the 10:00 service. We will be collecting for Family Support Work. Please check items are in date and we cannot accept fresh/chilled/frozen or home-made items.
If you would like to come to the lunch, please put your name on the sheet at the back of the church. Any queries please speak to Sue Griffiths.
SUSSEX HISTORIC CHURCHES RIDE AND STRIDE is taking place on Saturday Sept 12th, 9am to 5pm. Please talk to Mary-Rose and Peter, who are doing online sponsorship, and Jane who has a sponsorship form. We are in need of volunteers to be at the church for an hour between 10am and 3pm to welcome visitors. Please put your name on the sheet at the back of the church if you are able to help. Thank you.
THE SAINT FRANCIS TALKS: A series of four talks about St. Francis of Assisi in memory of Pamela Tudor-Craig, Art Historian and Medievalist. Talks start at 7pm, and will take place in St. Anne's Church.7th September - 'Nature Mysticism' [Reverend Ben Brown], 14th September -'Images of Saint Francis'' [Peter Shears], 21st September- 'The Saint, the Sufis and Preaching to the Birds [Josie Alwyn], 28th September - 'The Curious Case of the Canticle' [Josie Alwyn]
FEAST DAY OF ST FRANCIS: All are welcome to an evening of music, poetry and drama on the weekend of the Feast Day of St Francis as we celebrate his life and legacy. 3rd October, 6:45 for 7pm, lasts about an hour. Refreshments to follow. St Francis was a medieval saint who remains a figurehead for peace and ecological movements. This event is an ecumenical celebration created by diverse members of the local community. Earlier on Saturday there will be Family Art Workshops, 2pm - 4:30pm,at St Pancras Church Hall, across the road from St Anne’s: - Medieval Manuscript Making, Bird Puppets, Origami Birds.

Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
