ST MARY’S HALL KITCHEN APPEAL: Our next event is on Saturday October 31st 7-8.30pm at St. Mary’s Church Hall. Ann Holmes will give a history talk covering the origins of the Nevill estate to more recent times. Entrance is free. Donations are welcome and can be gift aided. Refreshments available.
FAMILY SUPPORT WORK: Firstly, thank you to those who regularly support F.S.W. by providing food donations, or bringing empty inkjet printer cartridges to be recycled (which earns F.S.W. money). The last couple of years have been exceptionally difficult for the charity, losing some significant funding meaning it is running at a loss and sadly some projects have been closed (you can see more information in the annual Impact Report, a couple of copies are on the font). So, please do continue to support F.S.W. in their work helping children and struggling families. Every donation of food or money really does make a difference.
This month F.S.W. would be very grateful for tinned vegetables, tinned meat/fish, tinned fruit, soup, chopped tomatoes, pasta sauce, pasta, dried rice, jams and spreads, coffee and tea, table sauces, snack bars - please make sure everything is in date. Please do not donate fresh (even if shrink-wrapped), chilled or frozen items. See Ashley if you would like to know more.
ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
