SILENT PRAYER, Tuesday 6th, 7 p.m.: A chance to experience some stillness as we enter into the New Year.
CHURCH CLEANING, Wednesday 7th from 10 a.m.: Volunteers are always welcome to help with this not to onerous, but much required duty. Cleaning is carried out each month and so do help when you can.
COFFEE MORNING: Thursday 8th 10 to 11 a.m. Do come along for a friendly chat over tea, coffee, cake and biscuits. This is not in any way religious, so do bring others. (From February it will return to the usual first Thursday.)
SENIORS’ CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH – THANK YOU: Gretel Scott would like to thank all the people who kindly donated to the Seniors’ Christmas Day Lunch: “Your prayers and good wishes for this event were also very welcome. The Revd. Peter Markby appealed for volunteer helpers and gifts of money at the Churches Together Advent Evensong on 7 December. The response was immediate and generous. In total I received offers of practical help and £235, which enabled us to buy festive food and a gift for each of the nineteen guests who attended the event. On behalf of Churches Together I express heartfelt thanks to you all.”
ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
