LORNA IDEN’S FUNERAL will be held on Monday 18th May, 11.30am at St Anne’s.
FUNDRAISING FOR KITCHEN ST MARY’S CHURCH HALL - an initial meeting after church today at St. Anne's, May 3rd, 11.30am and a wider meeting at St. Mary's church hall on Saturday 6th June,
10-11am. Please come to either meeting with your ideas and encourage friends and neighbours on Nevill estate to come to the meeting on Saturday 6th June
CONFIRMATION CLASSES: We will be running a series of four confirmation classes at St Anne's on the 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st of May. Sundays at 12:30pm. Each session will last an hour. The classes are for those who wish to be confirmed and want to grow in the understanding of what faith might mean, how it shapes our lives, how it inspires our imagination. However, they are also open to those who would like a refresher, so please join even if you are not wishing to be confirmed. The first session, on Sunday the 10th of May, is on God. The groups will be informal and we will not be following any kind of very tedious book called something like Our Faith which you have to keep looking at and find yourself becoming irritated by the pictures. There will be some handouts. Any questions contact Ben.
ASCENSION DAY COMMUNION: Thursday 14th May 9.15am. There will be a special morning communion service.
CHURCH CLEANING, this Wednesday (6th), 10am. We hope many of you can come this month to help clean.
COFFEE MORNING, this Thursday (7th), 10am. We look forward to seeing you at our Coffee Morning, and do bring someone who you think would enjoy it.
CHRISTIAN AID Please pray for the work of Christian Aid. May is the month when Christian Aid Week happens and many give, act and pray in support of the poorest and most vulnerable around the world. This year Christian Aid have initiated The Restore Campaign which aims to raise awareness and respond to the need for climate and debt justice. There will be opportunities to gather and encourage each other to seek justice and stand in solidarity with our global neighbours at the following locations: Sunday 3rd May 9.45am Kingston Church Sunday 10th May 10.30am Christ Church Saturday 16th May 3.30pm - 5pm Lewes Quaker Meeting House

Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
