CHURCH CLEANING, this Wednesday (6th), 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: This is not too strenuous, but the more people who can help makes the task easier and will be gratefully appreciated.
COFFEE MORNING, this Thursday (7th), 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Come and join us for tea, cake and a chat. Newcomers especially welcome.
FAMILY SUPPORT WORK FOODBANK: F.S.W. would be very grateful for the following tinned, dried, powder or jars of Chopped Tomatoes, Rice pudding, Custard, Sweetcorn & Carrots, Baked Beans, Gluten Free Foods, Rice, Pasta, Fruit, Table Sauces, Fish, Jams & Spreads, Tinned, Spaghetti, Cooking Sauces. Please check any donations are still within date and bring to the Church by Coffee Morning on this Thursday (7th). (F.S.W. cannot accept fresh meat or produce.)
BOOK AND CAKE SALE, Saturday 30th August, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: A wide range of fiction, non-fiction and children’s books, plus delicious cakes to buy. Payment accepted by cash, cheque or card. And please keep donating your unwanted books. (All money raised will go to the Flint Wall Appeal). VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED for set up on the Friday (29th) afternoon, for during the Sale and after to carry books to a van. Please speak to Ashley or email: ashley.price@sky.com.
SILENT PRAYER: There will be an extra session of silent prayer before it goes on Summer break this Tuesday 5th August at 7pm.
THIS WEEK. Monday to Friday there will be removal of some suspected asbestos from the boiler room below the church. It will be carefully segregated and secured by the company and will mean that there will be an area of the pathway outside which will be cordoned off, just by the gate to the downstairs boiler room. The removal will not impact the main church or our services. Any questions talk to Ben or the Churchwardens.
