SUSSEX HISTORIC CHURCHES RIDE AND STRIDE 2025.  Congratulations to Jane, Peter and Mary-Rose, who raised just over £1000 from cycling and walking to local churches. 50% comes to St. Anne's and the other 50% goes to the Sussex Historic Churches Trust. Thank you to our generous congregation for their sponsorship.

PRAYER CHAIN: St. Anne’s is among 12 churches forming a Lewes Area Churches Prayer Chain. The idea of the Prayer Chain is that through prayer we can “encourage one another and give each other strength”. The Bible 1 Thessalonians 5:11 This month churches in Lewes Area are praying for Christ Church and for collaborative initiatives that reach out into the local community.

A NEW COURSE STARTING THIS MONTH: READING THE MYSTICS. Six meetings where we will be reading and discussing selections, from Julian of Norwich to Meister Eckhart. The aim is to become more familiar with the vision of the mystics, their sense of how God is present in all things and within us, the reality of love, how we can become present to God. The aim of the group is to create a place of informal discussion and reflection as to how we can all enrich and deepen our sense of the divine. Note: this will be held at St. Michael's Church, 7pm to 8:30pm, Thursdays. The first session is on Thursday the 30th of October. Please contact me if you'd like to receive the first set of readings. Ben (rectorstanneslewes@gmail.com ). CARING AND SHARING – The collection tin is on the font for any donations.

ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.

ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
