ALL ARE WELCOME

Welcome to our services this Sunday, particularly if you are here for the first time. Do make yourself known to the clergy after the service. Please do stay for tea/coffee after the 10 a.m. Service.

TODAY: Do stay after the 10 a.m. Service for festive mulled wine (or alternatives) and mince pies. All are welcome.

 

MORNING PRAYER will be happening as usual Monday to Wednesday (Christmas Eve) this week, starting at 9:15 a.m. There are readings from Scripture, Canticles and a Collect, plus a time of prayer. The Service usually lasts 25 to 30 minutes. You are very welcome to join in with us or sit in a pew and just observe.

 

MONDAY (22nd): Carol Service at St Michael's Church at 5pm. This will be a musically beautiful service and is a joint service for our three churches.

 

TUESDAY (23rd): Silent Prayer for Advent at 7pm: Come to the last Silent Prayer of the year. A chance to experience some stillness and mystery on the brink of Christmas. Silent Prayer returns on Tuesday 8th January.

 

NEXT SUNDAY (28th): There will be NO 8 a.m. SERVICE.

 

COFFEE MORNING – January: This will be a week later, on THURSDAY 8th JANUARY. So, do come along for friendly chat as well as tea, coffee, cake and biscuits. This is not in any way religious, so do bring others.

 

CHRISTMAS SERVICES: We have a range of Christmas Services as follows: Christmas Eve we have the Crib Service at 5 p.m. and then Midnight Mass at 11 p.m. On Christmas Day there is Holy Communion at 8 a.m. and Sung Eucharist at 10 a.m. Do not hesitate to bring friends and family to our services.


USED STAMPS: Don’t forget we collect used postage stamps to help raise money for Medical Detection Dogs. Please pop them in the wallet on the Charity Section of the general information Noticeboard.

 

ADMINISTRATOR APPOINTMENT:  Congratulations to Jackie Price, who has been appointed as Church Administrator, commencing early January.

Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
