TODAY: CARITAS: Come to our evening service on Sunday at St Thomas at 6:30pm. We'll be having a service based around how to pray with the Bible, known as Lectio Divina (Divine Reading).

 

CHERRY BADEN-POWELL: Cherry's Funeral will be at St Anne's at 12pm on Monday (22nd).

 

JEAN HEBBORN: There will be a celebration of her life at St Anne's on Monday 29th April 3pm.

 

MORNING PRAYER & SILENT PRAYER: Join us at one of our other prayer services. Morning Prayer (Mon-Fri) 9:15am: Morning prayer offers a regular way to engage and pray with the Bible. Silent Prayer (Tuesdays at 7pm): A service of meditative prayer.

 

FAMILY SUPPORT WORK FOOD BANK: We are now doing a regular collection for FSW: They require ketchup, jam, tinned tomatoes, tinned vegetables (not pulses or potatoes), tinned meats, cleaning products, coffee, tinned fruit, long grain rice, squash, toothpaste, shampoo, baking products. Please bring to St Anne's by Thursday 2nd May. (NOT CURRENTLY NEEDED: baked beans, cereal, tea, soup, nappies).

 

DONATION ENVELOPES: For those who use the coloured envelopes to donate regularly, there are new sets for this year which are now available for collection.

 

APCM: The Annual Parochial Church Meeting will be on Sunday 28th April after the 10am service. The reports are available at the back of the church. If you would like an electronic copy, please email Jackie at pccsec.stannes@yahoo.com

 

ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - This is a reminder that our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
