Induction of Rev'd Ben Brown


Over one hundred people attended St Anne's Church on the evening of Thursday 7th October to celebrate the Institution and Induction of the new Rector, Reverend Benjamin Brown.


The Institution was carried out by The Right Reverend Martin Warner, Bishop of Chichester, with the Induction by The Venerable Martin Lloyd Williams, Archdeacon of Brighton and Lewes. The congregation included parishioners from the three churches in the Benefice of St Anne, St Michael, and St Thomas at Cliffe with All Saints.

Ben carried out his first service at St Anne's Church on Sunday 10th October, after which he was given a large Welcome card, and received a warm round of applause.

Ben moved to Lewes to take over the position of Rector, having previously been Team Vicar in the Merstham and Gatton Team Ministry He is married to Rachael, who is a sculptor and art therapist, and they have two daughters – Rowan (16) and Martha (9).
