CONFIRMATION CLASSES: We will be running a series of confirmation classes for children and adults in June. This is an opportunity to deepen awareness of the Christian faith. It can also be used as a refresher course or simply an opportunity to explore. The sessions are on God, Christ, Holy Communion and Prayer. Sundays in June at 12pm at St Anne's, the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd. For more info talk to Ben.

 

FSW FOODBANK: This month Family Support Work would like donations of cereal, crisps, ketchup, tinned tomatoes, tinned potatoes/vegetables, tinned meat, cleaning products, coffee, tinned fruit, rice, toiletries. Please bring to St Anne's by Thursday 6th June. (NOT CURRENTLY NEEDED: baked beans, tea, biscuits).

 

FSW CHARITY WALK, Cuckmere Pilgrim Path, Thursday 30th May: This year Family Support Work is doing a sponsored walk of the 11 mile Pilgrim Walk. They will be meeting on the day at Alfriston at 8:30am. There will be a refreshment stop at each church along the route, and those who feel they cannot manage the full length can join in at any of the stopping points. If you would like to take part as well or for more information you can contact the FSW Fundraising team on 01273 041401 or email fundraising@familysupportwork.org.uk or see the poster on the font.

 

Evensong Returns: We will have the first of our series of monthly Evensong services next Sunday the 26th of May at 6:30pm. This service will be held on the last Sunday of the month, May to September. Evensong is a particularly beautiful and ancient form of worship. Do join us.

 

Prayer at St. Anne’s. A church should be a house of prayer, a place where we can learn to encounter the presence of God and so know that presence more deeply in our lives. Come and join us for our regular prayer services. Morning Prayer. 9:15am Mon to Friday. A services of prayer and Biblical readings. Silent Prayer. Tuesdays. 7:00pm. A time to meet God in silence and stillness.

 

ST ANNE'S OPENING TIMES: A reminder that the Church is open Monday to Saturday from 9:15 until 4pm for people to come in and explore the church or to spend some quiet time. (Times when church is open may vary depending on services and other events.)
