THIS AFTERNOON PATRONAL EVENSONG AT ST THOMAS'S 4 p.m. All are welcome to this special Choral Evensong for the Patron Saint, Archbishop Thomas Becket, kindly supported by the Choral Evensong Trust. The singing will be led by a special choir drawn from the congregations of St Thomas, St Anne's and St Michael. Musical direction by organist Peter Hanson. After the service there will be refreshments and a short history talk in Cliffe Hall.
THIS FRIDAY (11th) THE MUSIC NEVER ENDS: “A play with songs”, 7 p.m. Featuring West End performers Karen Ascoe and Stephen Rashbrook with pianist Dominic Barlow. It includes jazz standards and Broadway classics. There will be drinks and nibbles. The event is FREE but all donations (by cash or card) gratefully appreciated.
“WE REALLY SHOULD HAVE A SORT OF OUT OF OUR BOOKS!”: … and donate the ones you no longer want to St. Anne’s for our Book and Cake Sale. Books in good condition on fiction, non-fiction and children’s would be very gratefully appreciated. (Sorry, we cannot accept A-Zs/maps, National Trust guides, academic study resources or computer manuals as we have to pay to dispose of these.)
NEXT SUNDAY: The Caring and Sharing tin will be on the font for any donations.
ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
