TUESDAY HOLY COMMUNION: Don't forget our weekly service of Holy Communion on Tuesdays, 10am.

 

OUR TWO COURSES FOR LENT CONTINUE:

On Monday Mornings Peter will be leading 'Reading the Psalms'. A course to deepen our awareness and understanding of the Psalms and how meditating on them and praying with them enriches our relationship with God. Dates: Monday 31st of March and Monday 14th of April. 10am St. Anne's.

 

On Thursday Evenings Ben will be giving four talks. Mysticism for Beginners: who the mystics were and why mysticism matters. Dates: Thursday the 3rd and 10th of April. 7pm Note: At St. Michael's Church.

 

PREPARATION OF THE NEW ELECTORAL ROLL: Today is the last opportunity for members of the congregation to fill in a new Electoral Roll Form. The brown envelope will be removed after the 10.00 service when the task of compiling the new Electoral Roll will begin.

 

ST. ANNE’S HISTORIC FLINT WALL APPEAL:  A series of events are planned:  May 9th, 7pm – “This is my story, this is my song”; June 20th 6pm- Quiz; July 11th, 7pm - “The music never ends”.  Please put the dates in your diaries.  If you have suitable questions or would like to be the quiz compère,  email Mary-Rose, maryroseshears@btinternet.com.

PALM SUNDAY LUNCH: We will be having a “frugal lunch” of soup with a roll and fruit after the 10 a.m. service on 13th April. If you would like to attend the Lunch please put your name on the list (marking if you have any special dietary requirements) at the back of the Church. The Lunch is free but donations will be gratefully appreciated. For more information, please speak to Jackie or Mary-Rose.

 

SERVICES IN HOLY WEEK AND EASTER DAY. You will find details of our services in Holy Week and into Easter at the back of church.
