FAMILY SUPPORT WORK – GIFTS FOR CHRISTMAS

This is the LAST WEEK to donate toys and gifts for FSW. New toys and games, particularly for older children, plus donations of hats, gloves and scarfs (please do not gift-wrap any items), also Christmas wrapping paper. Gift vouchers for adults and children will be most welcome. Please bring to the church any time during the next week. In next Sunday's (4th December) 10am service we will bless the gifts.

ADVENT COURSE: Our Advent course starts this Thursday at 6:15pm at St Anne's to discuss and pray with the great themes of Advent. The reading we will be looking at is Psalm 42 and our theme is our longing for God.

OUR CHRISTMAS EVE NATIVITY (OR CRIB SERVICE) is looking for adults and children to bring the Christmas story to life. We will hold a few rehearsals before the show. If you are interested, speak to Ben or David, our organist.

OUR CHURCH IS A PLACE OF REGULAR PRAYER. Do come and join us. Morning Prayer Mon-Fri 9:15am, prayers, readings and space for reflection. Contemplative Prayer is on Tuesday at 7pm, a time to encounter God in stillness and quiet.

CHRISTMAS WITH THE ASHDOWN SINGERS, Sunday 4th December, 3pm, St Thomas More Church, Seaford BN25 1SS. There will be tea and mince pies after, and a retiring collection in aid of Homelink.

ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - This is a reminder that our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, this week we start a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.

PRAYER AT ST ANNE'S: A Church is, at heart, a house of prayer, a place where we can encounter God at a new level of depth and delight. Do join us for prayer this month. Morning Prayer is Mon-Fri at 9:15am and Contemplative Prayer, a time of silent love and attention, is at 7pm on Tuesdays.

ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
