COMMUNION: Communion is now given at the altar rail, and we are offering bread and wine. We do ask people to NOT dip the wafer into the wine. You can of course just receive the bread, or have a blessing.

CHURCH OPENING TO THE PUBLIC: From Monday 7th November, St Anne's will be open each weekday from 9am to 4pm (times are variable) for the public to visit the church, to have some silent time with God. We are looking to build a list of people who will be willing to close up the church. There are three of us currently, but a couple more would be great. Please speak to Mary-Rose, Ashley, or Ben.

SPIRITUAL BOOKSHELF: The top-right hand shelf of the bookshelves is now the "Spiritual Bookshelf". The books are all selected to deepen our shared life of faith. Please feel free to borrow a book.

MORNING PRAYER, Mon-Fri, 9:15am: A time of reflection, prayer, readings. A chance also to delve into the riches of the Bible, often a beautiful phrase or insight from the readings stays with you for the rest of the day.

CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER, Tuesday 25th,7pm, St Anne's: A time to journey deeper in faith and silence. After the period of quiet we listen to a Bible reading.

TALK BY DR MICHELE MOATT, Wednesday 26th, 7:30pm, St Anne's: Dr Moatt's talk will be on "Early Cistercian Attitudes Towards Anchoresses"

LUNCHTIME CONCERT, Thursday 27th 1:10pm: Marina Vosmirova and Ernest Sirota, award-winning classical guitarists from Ukraine.

ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - This is a reminder that our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, this week we start a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.

PRAYER AT ST ANNE'S: A Church is, at heart, a house of prayer, a place where we can encounter God at a new level of depth and delight. Do join us for prayer this month. Morning Prayer is Mon-Fri at 9:15am and Contemplative Prayer, a time of silent love and attention, is at 7pm on Tuesdays.

ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
