MORNING PRAYER: Do join us for morning prayer, Mon-Fri, 9:15am, an opportunity to pray with the Bible and to discover its daily riches. Please note, Silent Prayer returns on Tuesday September the 3rd at 7pm.

 

Lunchtime Concert This Thursday the 29th of August at 1:10pm at St. Anne’s: Philip Hopkins will be playing with his chromatic harmonica, programme to include works by Handel, Bernstein, Schubert and Debussy.

 

Evensong Next Sunday the 25th at 6:30pm: Don’t forget our service of Evensong next Sunday at St. Anne’s.

 

CHILDREN’S BOOKS WANTED FOR THE BOOK SALE: Have you got any of these types of books you no longer need? Then don’t leave them sitting on the shelf or a box, donate them to the church for our book sale in September (21st).

 

Holy Communion at St. Anne’s: This is just to flag up that from the autumn there will be more services of Holy Communion in the week. We will start to have a regular morning communion at 10am and a monthly contemplative communion on Wednesday evenings. Details to follow.

 

ST ANNE'S OPENING TIMES: A reminder that the Church is open Monday to Saturday from 9:15 until 4pm for people to come in and explore the church or to spend some quiet time. (Times when church is open may vary depending on services and other events.)

ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
