SPECIAL SERVICE OF COMMUNION with the licensing of Jane Perry as a lay apostolic worker led by the Bishop of Lewes at St. Anne's on Wednesday the 16th of October at 7:30pm. Do join us for this communion service where Jane Perry will be licensed as a lay apostolic worker to our church. Just as a lay reader supports the ministry and mission of the church internally (through preaching, teaching and leading worship), this new role supports the external ministry and mission of the church, as we go out to encounter God in the world. Jane's role includes supporting the development of Chichester Diocese's Duke of Edinburgh programme, as well as supporting St Anne's to forge and strengthen our links to the local community. Drinks and nibbles will follow this event.

F.S.W. CHRISTMAS WISH LIST: Yes, Family Support Work are thinking of Christmas already. They are asking for: Bread sauce, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, coffee, cranberry sauce, custard, gravy granules, hot chocolate, mince pies, stuffing mix. Tins of: ham, hotdogs, meatballs, new potatoes, salmon, vegetables (not pulses). Family size packs of: biscuits, sweets or chocolates and savoury snacks. No fresh meat or vegetables. PLEASE ENSURE ITEMS ARE IN DATE FOR CHRISTMAS!

ST ANNE'S OPENING TIMES: A reminder that the Church is open Monday to Saturday from 9:15 until 4pm for people to come in and explore the church or to spend some quiet time. (Times when church is open may vary depending on services and other events.)

ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - Our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.

ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
