REMEMBRANCE (this afternoon): there will be a Remembrance Day parade from 2:30pm at the War Memorial, followed by a civic service at St Michael's.
CARITAS: Do come to the last of this year's contemplative services on Sunday 19th at 6:30pm at St. Thomas (please note). Poetry and prayer is the theme.
ADVENT COURSE: This is called Genesis: A Text for the Spiritual Life. A series of three sessions at St. Anne's on Mondays the 4th, 11th and 18th of December at 11am. Further details on the posters/sheets available in church.
THE TELLING: St. Anne's is hosting a piece of musical theatre about Hildegard of Bingen on Sunday the 26th of November. Details on the flyer at the back of church or at www.thetelling.co.uk/events/vision-lewes.
TOY SERVICE (FSW), Sunday 3rd December. Family Support Work are looking for toys and other gifts appropriate to the following age ranges:
5-8 Cars, dolls, Let’s Pretend toys, board games, colouring books & pens/pencils, simple craft kits, Lego, reading books and books for parents to read with them.
9-11 Board games, colouring/activity books & pens/pencils, craft kits, science kits, Lego etc, outdoor games (footballs etc)
All gifts please should be new and unwrapped so that practitioners can select the most appropriate presents for their caseload children.
