READERS: Would you like to read in Church? Reading in Church is a powerful way to participate in the service and also to draw closer to the power and beauty of our readings. We are also looking for children who would be willing to read. If you are interested please talk to Mary-Rose, Ben or Judith. Current Readers: If you read currently, can you let Mary-Rose have your email address, please email churchwardens.stannes@yahoo.com
PCC will meet this Tuesday the 10th of January at 7pm at St Anne's. PCC is where we talk about our shared life in Christ and the meeting covers many different aspects of our life together. Please pray for the meeting.
A HOUSE OF PRAYER: St Anne's is a church which takes prayer seriously. Prayer is a daily feast for the Spirit and it is open to all of us. Morning prayer is said at St Anne's, Mon-Fri at 9:15am. If you have never been, consider trying it, if you have been, come and try it again.
SILENT PRAYER: This is another way to pray, in silence and stillness. Silent prayer is not about anything esoteric, it is a profound way to grow in our daily awareness of the love of God. Silent Prayer returns on Tuesday the 17th of January at 7pm at St Anne's. If you have never been, come and try it. If you have been, come and try it again.
ST ANNE'S WEBSITE: www.stanneslewes.org.uk - This is a reminder that our website offers resources for our growth in discipleship. On the website you can now find recent sermons collated in one place under the tag sermons. Also, we have a regular slot called Spiritual Reflections which aims to look at questions of faith in a fresh, imaginative way. Contact Ashley or Ben if you can't find the content.
ONLINE AND CARD TRANSACTIONS: Donations can also be made through our website (the DONATE button is in the top right-hand corner of every page).
