The Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple: This is another moment of epiphany. Jesus is revealed as the messiah through the words of the beautiful canticle of Simeon and the praise of the prophet Anna. This great moment in Luke is rich in poetry and symbol and every time we read or listen to it a new aspect is revealed.
THANK YOU FROM JUDITH: “I was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown to me last Sunday. Thank you so much for the beautiful card and my wonderful gifts!”
COFFEE MORNING returns this Thursday (6th) at 10am. All welcome.
COMMUNION AT ST. ANNE'S. Do join us for our new weekly morning communion service on Tuesday at 10am. Note: Our next evening Contemplative Communion Service is on Wednesday 12th at 7pm. This is a monthly service.
PRAYER AT ST. ANNE'S. Worship and prayer are the heart of our life as a Church. To grow in knowledge of Christ prayer is essential, it is like drinking water when you are thirsty or breathing deeply when you have been constricted. Do come to our weekly service of contemplation, Silent Prayer, Tuesdays at 7pm, or Morning Prayer, Mon-Fri, 9:15am.
NEXT SUNDAY (9th): The Caring and Sharing tin will be on the font for any donations.
