A message from Richard

Dear Friends,

This is my last month of ministry with you all. May I begin by thanking you for your friendship, fellowship and the warm welcome you always give me. It has been a privilege to serve as your Rector for the past six years and to have Judith, as well as Sue in my first few years, as such valuable and faithful colleagues.

My last Sunday with you will be Sunday 23rd February, when I will celebrate and preach at 10.00am. My final service at St. Thomas’s will be next week, and at St Michael’s on 16th February. My ministry in the Benefice will conclude with a joint Evensong at St Anne’s on Sunday 23rd February at 6.30pm, followed by drinks and nibbles, to which everyone is most welcome.

The last six years have flown by; much has happened, but through it all I have been very aware of the guidance of God’s Holy Spirit. I pray that Spirit may bless you all in the coming months and years.
